1. AUC scholarships for Refugees

This type of AUC scholarships provides full assistance for students from refugee backgrounds who want to pursue their studies at AUC.

The applicants must meet the following requirements:
  • AUC admissions prerequisites
  • Documentation of the status of a refugee ( Blue card for refugees and a yellow ID card for asylum applicants)
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Have a high school diploma between 2018 and 2019, or be a transfer student with less than (one or two years) in the institution of your choice.

2. Green Environment Scholarship

The scholarship is awarded each semester to ongoing students. The scholarship will pay for the cost of 3 credits of study within an academic program at AUC. Students must show financial need, have good academic conduct and a clean record for the semester before their application with a minimum grade point average of 2.0, be enrolled as a full-time student and make a significant involvement in the AUC Tobacco-Free Initiative.

3. The Cultural Scholarship

The scholarship is awarded annually to a limited group of students who have made outstanding achievements in any art activity. The recipients receive an amount of reduction in their tuition for up to fifteen credit hours each semester.

The applicants must meet the following criteria.
  • Students must show the ability to pay for their education.
  • Students must submit a personal declaration of their cultural contribution and activities backed by official documentation that can be authenticated.
  • Students must be in the program for a minimum of 12 credits in a semester.

4. The Student Union (SU) Scholarship

This type of AUC scholarships is a part-time award given each winter and spring semester to continuing students.

Eligibility

  • Students need to demonstrate that they have the financial capability
  • Students are required to submit a personal statement in the semester before them.
  • Students must be registered for at least 12 credits in a semester.

5. Athletic Scholarship

This Egyptian American scholarship is awarded annually and is awarded to a selected group of students who play in sports sponsored by the University. Students who receive this scholarship will receive a reduction in their tuition fee for a maximum of fifteen credit hours each semester.

Eligibility

  • Students are required to send their athletic resumes to the Office of Athletics.
  • Students must be registered for at least 12 credits in a semester.
  • Students need to have a clean academic integrity record.
  • It would help if you were actively involved in at least one of the listed sports currently being organized by the Egyptian University Sports Federation (EUSF) Winter and summer Olympic games.

6. The AUC Liberal Arts Undergraduate Scholarship

In line with AUC's commitment to internationalization, it offers an exceptional Liberal Arts education within a multicultural environment and promotes an education that is liberal in Egypt.

The AUC Liberal Arts undergraduate scholarship will provide exceptional full and partial undergraduate scholarships for students from Egypt and the region, along with the United States, to study humanities and social sciences.

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • High school graduate during the year 2021-2022, or the transfer student who has no more than one academic year at their current institution
  • Show outstanding academic credentials.
  • Meet the admission requirements of AUC.
  • You must pass or take one of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with an IELTS minimum band score of 5.5 and an average score on writing in the range of 5.5, and an equivalent score on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with an overall score of 62 and a minimum writing score of 17
  • Demonstrate financial need
